ABU DHABI – Red Bull Renault close this Formula 1 season with perfection. Two of their racers, Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber finishing 1-2 in the closing series of Grand Prix Abu Dhabi on the Yas Marina Circuit. Jenson Button, Brawn-Mercedes racer who have secured the world title in the previous series in Brazil, got a bonus with finish in third position.
Results also ensure Vettel ranked second in the final standings drivers directly below Button. Vettel collected 84 points while Button has 95 points.
1-2 finish in the Yas Marina become a fourth 1-2 finish for Red Bull this season. Previously, Vettel and Webber did in the GP of China, GP British and GP German. Only in the German GP Webber finishing ahead of Webber. This 1-2 finish count (four times) as well as the constructors world championship team Brawn-Mercedes did.
