Free Practice session 1, 2009 Belgian Formula 1 GP
Jarno Trulli become the fastest driver in Free Practice I GP Belgium at Spa Francorchamps circuit on Friday (28/8/2009).
Spa Francorchamps cold weather did not hinder the Toyota driver had to appear violent. In the first practice session that had rain twice interrupted, Trulli could finish the race in 1:49.675.
Leadership as World Driver Formula 1 Championship, Jenson Button, followed in second place, followed by Renault driver Fernando Alonso. Duo Toro Rosso, Sebastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari complete the top five positions.
The top three barely changed from the fierce competition first began after two rain. From the beginning of Renault driver Fernando Alonso was third pressed beneath fastest Jarno Trulli and Jenson Button.
There are two drivers who did not complete this training session; defending champion Lewis Hamilton and the young champ Sebastian Vettel Red Bull.
