At the Spanish Grand Prix this weekend, Formula 1 2009 season as back to the zero point. Almost all team upgrading each of their the car, potentially make more random map that has been the strength of this random. Can Brawn-Mercedes still stand in the front?
Barcelona circuit, where Spanish Grand Prix held this weekend, is the most ideal place to test the ability of the car. Fastest in Barcelona, usually, is the fastest in Formula 1.
4.653 km circuit has a complete composition. There are straight along the track about one kilometer, to test the ability of suitable machines. There are fast long corners, suitable for testing the aerodynamics efficiency.
There is also a chicane (curve S) and hairpin (180 degrees) slow and sharp, suitable for testing mechanical grip (adhesiveness of the tyre, Suspension, and other non aerodynamics components).
If you see the results of testing in Barcelona on 9-12 March, the operation of Brawn-Mercedes is the fastest. During that four day, Brawn BGP 001 cars almost always in the top of the list. In fact, Rubens Barrichello is the only person able to besiege Barcelona in less than 1 minute and 19 seconds!
Speed Brawn is evident in the track then, when the 2009 season begins. Jenson Button achieved victory in three race of the first four.
However, this not mean that Brawn will continue the domination in Barcelona this weekend. Because, the 2009 season is like to start over again.
