Maranello – Scuderia Ferrari confirmed to recruit Jules Bianchi in the long term. Jules Bianchi will be plotted as a future driver the prancing horse team.
20 years-old drivers of French origin is currently leading the GP2 Asia Series, after winning in 2009 F3 Championship.
In a contract specifications with Ferrari , does not mention that Bianchi would be in Formula One. However, he will learn and practice with that racing team from Italy.
Like a Ferrari spokesperson stated, the composition of Ferrari’s drivers for 2010 season, had a provision. Giancarlo Fisichella will be the third driver, while still holding the main drivers Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso as Kimi Raikkonen replacement.
“Giancarlo Fisichella will be our third driver in 2010. However, Bianchi would we wrought and become part of the future of Ferrari,” Ferrari spokesman explained as quoted by autosports, Thursday (3/12/2009).
Bianchi in an interview with autosport, mentioning that there is no guarantee he will be competing in F1 with Ferrari.
“There is no guarantee if I’ll soon appear in Formula 1 with Ferrari. I only have a contract and if I did not get a good season next year, Ferrari will probably move me,” explained the Nice-born racing driver, August 3, 1989.
