BMW Sauber will Stay to Developing the Cars

BMW Sauber Formula 1 will be pullback from Formula 1 event next season. However, the team based in Hinwil will continue to develop the car in the remaining races this season.

BMW Motorsport Director, Mario Theissen, feel it was vital for the team if they can showing promises performance in the rest of the season, so that the future of the team also guaranteed.

“Clearly we were all disappointed with the decision to pullback from the Formula 1,” said Theissen is quoted by autosport, Sunday (16/8/2009).

“The team has put themselves in the top row in three years and we want to show the bad results of our season is only a natural right. Now our task is to focus in front of a few months,” he said.

“While working behind the scenes in order to resume search for solutions to the team, all realize putting the good performance at the circuit is the best way to advertise their capabilities,” continued the team boss.

Added: “We want to rise quickly so that the development package for Valencia and Singapore will be included in the appropriate exercise plan.”
