Toro Rosso launch a young drivers Mirko Bortolotti as one of the test driver who will doing a testing session at Jerez next month.
19 years old driver from Italy will be driving a Toro Rosso car on the second day of first testing session in F1 for season 2010. Test in Jerez circuit itself will originally going to be held at 1st until December 3rd, 2009, as reported by Autosport, Wednesday (11/11/2009).
Besides Bortolotti, other drivers are also scheduled to hold on the test session is Brendon Hartley. He will perform twice, at the beginning and at the end of the session.
Bartolotti himself had tried Ferrari’s car before. That opportunity as a reward for his victory at the Italian F3 Championship event in 2008.
This year, he went in the Formula 2 Championship and able to occupy the fourth position with one victory. He was also able to reach the podium in the F3 Euro Series final at Hockenheim.
