Fantastic Jenson Button. The Brawn-Mercedes driver is really dominating the early season of Formula 1 2009. Yesterday, he became the forefront of the Turkish Grand Prix at the Istanbul circuits. Total, seven out of the race was going on, he grab six victories.
With the success, Button collect 61 points. He was far from the closest rival who is also his team mates, Rubens Barrichello, who just only grab 35 points. Barrichello left behind because the Brazillian drivers yesterday can not reap points due fail to finis. As a bonus, Button sign up as the first drivers that can win in Istanbul circuit even though does not start from pole position.
Button is quite surprise with the victory. The UK driver is completely aware that the Istanbul circuit which has filled with quickly curve is less compatible with BGP 001. That is already evident in qualifying the previous day, in which one of Red Bull-Renault driver Sebastian Vettel beat him in seizing pole position.
“I do not know that the circuit is more suitable for us than the other team. Our Cars we was really fantastic, I feel this is the best car we have this season,” said Button as quoted by Autosport.
Not excessive if button called his car yesterday as the best this season. In the circuit that should be fine for Red Bull-Renault with excess of the aerodynamic, Button even dominant since the first lap.
