Sandstorm hit Bahrain in testing day
Meanwhile, the trial in Bahrain does not going well as what they expected. From a four-day scheduled, practically only two days effective. Two days in the middle (Wednesday and Thursday, 11-12 / 2) subject to sand storms. That's ironic, given that the Ferrari F1, BMW Sauber, Toyota F1 and choose the exercise in Bahrain to avoid bad weather (rain and cold) in Europe!
Fortunately, on the last day (Friday, 13 / 2) the weather is very cooperative. Teams also beat up''out''of each car. Each racer can devour more than 120 lap, equal to twice the distance race.
The result? Three new car was not until 0.4 seconds per lap far. Ferrari F1 is still the best, then Toyota F1 and BMW Sauber stick to it.
Not surprisingly, the Toyota team have a big smile in Bahrain. Results of the trial to give hope for better seasons later in 2009. Timo Glock, German origin of Toyota driver, said, the preparation of 2009 is much better than the preparation in 2008.
''Last year, my hair up a lot of gray to determine the direction of the car and adjust my driving style,''he said. ''This year cars is more suited with my style. Now we only see what will happene,''Glock added.
Now Ferrari F1, Toyota F1, and BMW Sauber will still survive in Bahrain. Next weekend they will be training again in the circuit of sand for four more days. While teams in Europe will continue the practice in Spain.
We just continue to monitor the development of that trial. What is still tight, or the excellent teams will make high improvement …
