Ferrari leave Massa behind

Ferrari's does not expect Felipe Massa to return to the F1 in the end of this season, at least until the 2010 racing season begins.

As reported by autosport, Wednesday (2/8/2009), Massa currently undergoing a medical examinations at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, United States.

From the results of initial tests, Massa declared in a good condition. However, considering of Massa’a plastic surgery will be done in the next few days, the Prancing Horse does not want to risk to bring Massa down for race too early.

“Clearly, the result are get a warm welcome at Maranello, with consideration of the team can 100% rely on Felipe at the start of the season,” said Ferrari on their site.

Mass began to recover, also claimed not want to rush down to the track.

“Down the track in a F1 car? First thing first: now I focus on physical activity, which is a nice step forward,” explained the Brazilian driver.
