
For the first time Force India managed to fix the pole position for the F1GP Belgium, at Spa-Francorchamps, Sunday (30.8.2009). These results could not be separated from the performance of drivers Giancarlo Fisichella who appeared to record the fastest time with 1 minutes 46,308 seconds.
Since the qualifying session was held, the smell of victory Force India has indeed been detected. Becuase, Fisichella succeed to perform as quickest at Q1, leading from several competitor like Jarno Trulli and Rubens Barrichello at 2nd & 3rd position. Horribly Results recorded by Luca Badoer. Entering Q3, Fisichella again spread threats. Italian drivers are again showing a brilliant performance. The result, Fisichella had successfully secured the first pole position for the Force India. The BMW driver, Nick Heidfeld who had mastered free practic III had to settle for the top three with 46,500 seconds 1 minutes.
Rubens Barrichello successfully stepped in 4th position with a record time 1 minutes 46,513 seconds. But success was not followed by Rubinho team mate Jenson Button to start from position 14. Heidfeld’s Team mate, Robert Kubica managed to occupy the fifth position, followed by Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen in the order of six.
Red Bull duo Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber thwart the hegemonic ambition Brawn GP, only able to occupy positions eight and nine. Timo Glock in seventh position, while Nico Rosberg completed the ten drivers leading formats.
McLaren etched disappointing results. Lewis Hamilton could only ranked 12th, while teammate Heikki Kovalainen in 15th position. Mainstay Renault driver Fernando Alonso also received poor results with 13 ranks.
