Rumor that Fernando Alonso will be going to join Ferrari seemed to be a reality. The drivers racing for Renault this season agreed and ready to sign a contract with the Prancing Horse's side. Really?
As reported by Eurosport, and recorded at f1dv.com, Tuesday (29/9/2009), in the near future Alonso reportedly will sign a contract duration of five years at Ferrari. In that time, this Spaniard driver will get paid 25 million euros per season.
Spanish radio station, Cadena Ser that spreading this news, they even dared to claim, announcements of contract deal Alonso to Ferrari will be announced on Thursday (1/10/2009) local time. Furthermore, Cadena Ser also said, Ferrari will be the last port of Alonso’s racing career. Because, if received Ferrari contract, then Alonso will be 34 years old when his contract expires at Maranello.
Alonso himself is still under contract with Renault until the end of the 2010 season. Lucky, in a contract clause, two-time world champion medalist allowed leave at the end of his contract. This condition is reportedly pushing Alonso close to Ferrari.
