Responding Ferrari F1 request, top team A1GP Ireland and New Zealand was running a series of additional testing on the Taupo circuit. Both teams try car with Ferrari engine that has collector fuel in the high temperatures.
Data generated from further testing will be validated every three weekend at the headquarters of A1GP technology and reference data into the A1GP at Gauteng, South Africa.
"We're happy to help complete the test," the Team Principal Mark Gallagher said as told to automoto365, Tuesday (3/2/2009).
"To be fair, we do not reduce Adam Caroll in this trial session. And is a good opportunity for Niall Quinn to know the setting of the car," he added.
Gallagher acknowledges, this trial session could become another preparation before the next races of the Africa. "We will exert all-out effort when down the track in Gauteng. Kyalami is a new track for all the people in A1GP," explained.
