Brawn GP driver Jenson Button success to secure four-point when finished in fifth position at Singapore Grand Prix, last weekend. According to him, the result is a positive signal to race at the Japanese GP at Suzuka Circuit, this weekend.
Button returned to perform nicely on the last two series in Italy and Singapore, after previously performed poorly in the three series (Hungary, Europe & Belgium). These results bring him still leading the standings with 84 collection points or 15 points ahead of nearest rival and team mate Rubens Barrichello.
This condition makes the odds won the world title from Lewis Hamilton’s hand so wide open. Although claiming not satisfied with the results at Singapore GP, but Button believes if the result is a positive signal ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix, this weekend.
“It’s not my best result and not also for the team. However, successfully scooped up four points and added one point difference from Barrichello and trimmed by one point from Vettel is a positive signal ahead of the series in Japan,” Button said as quoted by Autosport, and recorded at f1dv.com Wednesday (30/9/2009).
“I came to Japan with a positive signal was determined to achieve results and neat, this weekend,” explained Button that have to finish at least five points in front of Barrichello if he want to appear as a world champion this season.
“I love this circuit. I think everyone would like Suzuka, and this is a problem. Because I hope they do not like it. This is a circuit that makes me enjoy the race and achieve neat results. Thus, happy to be back racing here again, “said 29-years old racer.
