Next Year, BMW using Ferrari

TEAM BMW Sauber continued to make strategic decisions to face the 2010 season, when their parent company BMW leaving. Yesterday, they announced the engine supplier for next season. Team boss, Mario Theissen confirmed that the team will using Ferrari engines.

“The team car will be driven by Ferrari engines,” said Theissen, as reported by Autosport and as recorded at f1dv.com.

Previously, BMW Sauber had a new backers after the leaving of BMW. That is a Swiss investment company, Qadbak.

Cooperation with the Ferrari is not new for BMW Sauber. Sauber team has established strong ties with Ferrari before it was taken over by BMW from 2005.

The agreement of the engine supplier for next season, of course, the more enlightening the future of BMW Sauber. Although they have to wait for the FIA to make the decision for F1 to followed by 14 teams. Quota 13 team is now full. However, it has not made steady Theissen to continue their work in the team.

“It’s not good to mix my personal situation with all efforts to achieve the team’s future. We’re so confident will be in the grid next year and our new investors looking very strong,’’said Theissen at the Autosport as recorded at f1dv.com.
