“We had thought that the three-stop strategy which is faster. I was not sure with the two stop strategy. Because, when carrying more fuel (after the first pit stop), the car feels really heavy,” he said. “I had a feeling that can not be out in front of Felipe (Massa) and Sebastian (Vettel). But it turns out we can. I really concentrate to drive as fast as i can,” added 29 years old drivers.
With this victory, Button feels more confident to face the rest of the season in 2009. Degree champion of the world has become a very realistic target. “I feel in the top of the world at this time. Our team has been working well. With the package now, we are winning again. Thank you also to the Mercedes. We may not be able to do this without them,” he said.
The Red Bull-Renault driver, Mark Webber, yesterday finish 3rd. His Colleagues, Vettel, finally finis fourth. That is because Felipe Massa is threatened of ran out of fuel, so he must yield when the race just only four laps remaining.
For Ferrari, the race yesterday was shameful enough. On the last pit stop, they did the wrong calculation when they fill out the fuel in the Massa’s car. At the end of the race, the Brazillian driver was really have to be clumsy. He finally finis only in sixth position, then have to walk back to the garage after a finis because the car actually running out of fuel.
Besides passing by Vettel, Massa also passing by Fernando Alonso (Renault).
Not only make mistakes, the reliability of Ferrari was still incredulous. Kimi Räikkönen yesterday again failed to finish due to the problem of his car.
