Fernando Alonso just only get five points from four races have been held. Fight in Spain, makes Alonso optimistic Renault soon rise.
"Always be a special race in Spain and I am lucky to be able to race in the pen this year, in Barcelona and Valencia," said Alonso who now was ranked eighth with a collection of five points.
“Getting support from the fans can make my spirit grow. I can only hope I can make them happy and end the race this weekend with strong,” more from the Spanish origin.
“I think it is very difficult to reach the podium. But, I hope we have qualified and makes a lot of points in the upcoming race,” the former firm of the mclaren said.
In the last race in Bahrain, Alonso was start the race in seventh position. But, the two times F1 world champion must be satisfied in the end the race ranked eighth.
“My drink bottle did not take place smoothly and it makes the race to become heavy. Lack of water when I’m out of the car after the race,” said Alonso as quoted by F1Live on Wednesday (6/5/2009).
