Renault got a replacement for Fernando Alonso that went to Ferrari. As I wrote several days ago, Renault successful grab a talented driver Robert Kubica who previously strengthen BMW-Sauber.
Kubica is the driver to be booked 99 to victory in F1. It was performed by Kubica at the Grand Prix of Canada in 2008. The achievement could be the first victory in the history of BMW-Sauber who with him since 2006.
Renault team boss Bob Bell confess has looking after Kubica for long time ago. In fact, it was done when the Polish driver made his debut in 2006. “He is a driver who has the biggest natural talents in his generation,”praised Bell.
Kubica was once part of the Renault at the beginning of his involvement with F1. He underwent his first test session with Renault four years ago. Sessions that took place in Barcelona was obtained as a prize after winning the World Series title held Renault in 2005. But the cooperation was not soo good and Kubica choose to off and start his F1 career.
However, Kubica can not forget Reanult. He think Renault has given way to a career in F1. “I have a special relationship with Renault. I feel comfortable here because this team has an open attitude and high willingness to win. I can be optimistic on the front lines and fight for the world championships next year,”Kubica said.
In addition to winning the Canadian Grand Prix, Kubica had a total of three times a podium. In the 2008 season, he ended the season with fourth place the end of the drivers standings.
Kubica is now 25-year-old is actually quite feasible to replace Alonso who had twice become world champion. During the BMW-Sauber, Kubica also been positioned as a leader.
