Maranello – Michael Schumacher reportedly wants to return to Formula One (F1) in the 2010 season with Mercedes Grand Prix. Ferrari Formula 1 grant permission to Schumi to strengthen it’s rival.
Known, German media bustling reported that Mercedes GP will soon bring the F1′s legend. Practically, this is a fantastic move when it really happen.
The reason, Schumacher will return to the track after three years ago decided to retire from the Ferrari driver. After that, the German rider remained in Italy as an advisor.
So, what do Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo when he heard rumors that Schumacher will return to the track? “No, we do not tie it,” said Montezemolo.
“If Schumacher decides to take another path, then our agreement is no longer valid, it is very logical. You can not work with our competitors and us at the same time,” added the Italian man.
“I have not talked to him about this. He’s just a friend, not a member of the team. He is a consultant of our drivers.” He said as quoted by Reuters on Tuesday (15/12/2009).
