Schumi is Back

BRACKLEY – Michael Schumacher is back. Today, Mercedes GP officially announced that the Formula 1 racing legend will be escorting the team at the Formula 1 championship season 2010.

After more than a week of speculation without confirmation, Mercedes GP finally open sound. As reported by the official F1 website, formula1.com, Wednesday (23/12/2009), the team issued an official statement, the 41 years old drivers will be coupled with Nico Rosberg, escorted Mercedes Grand Prix along at 2010 season.

Even more surprising, the contract with the former Brawn GP not only for a season. Schumacher sensationally won contracts for three periods at once. Wow …

As quoted by Autosport, Schumacher comeback rumors protruding since the Mercedes-Benz took over ownership of Brawn GP, at the end of Formula 1 GP 2009 season. But before today, the news never got certainty the truth, because both parties chose to silence.

The enrollment of Schumi to Mercedes GP marked a reunion with his former technique director Ross Brawn, which now serves as the team boss. This means, he was ready to update the seven-times world champion record and 91 Grand Prix victories before deciding to hanging his helmet at 2006.
