LONDON – Silverstone Circuit finally will host Formula One (F1) British GP. According to Bernie Ecclestone, that success will make Silverstone F1 circuit grabbing big profit. Really?
This is as has been previously written. In fact, Ecclestone was trying to offer this opportunity to other parties, but offer less appealing.
“Obviously, I try to offer this opportunity to other countries who wanted to hold the race. However, the offer of money in Europe is not much,” said Ecclestone.
Initially, F1 supremo was frustrated with the length of time negotiations with the Silverstone. In fact, now Ecclestone has given the green light to Silverstone to host Formula 1 races during the next 17 years.
“Negotiation running too long. However, it can spread Silverstone racing for many years and huge profits,” said the British man. The sign is already visible. 2010 Formula 1 tickets for British GP sold fast. A lot of UK people buying the f1 tickets to watch that race live.
“I saved Silverstone F1 Circuit not because I’m an English. However, if people have thoughts like that, then it would be very exciting,” said the 79 years old man.
