Williams-Toyota Terminate the Cooperation

Williams F1 and Toyota finally agreed to end their technical cooperation contract. Starting next season the team leader Frank Williams is definitely going to use another engine supplier.

The decision was officially announced by both parties. The news was immediately answered all negative issues that has developed since two weeks ago.

Toyota did not want to challenge decisions made by Williams F1. Even the leadership of Toyota Motosports Tadashi Yamashina admitted sincere and pray for the best for the team that is now manned by Nico Rosberg.

“We really respect the Williams wishes. We certainly will look for other opportunities and wish the best for them,” says Yamashina as quoted by Sky Sports, and recorded at f1dv.com, Wednesday (14/10/2009).

Until now is still unclear which manufacturers will be selected to replace Williams Toyota. However, rumors say that Renault and Cosworth will became a prime candidate.
