Alonso Fastest in First Day

The Monte Carlo – The first day training session ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix, this weekend belongs to Fernando Alonso. The Ferrari driver was featured as the fastest on two free practice sessions at the Circuit Monte Carlo, Thursday (05/13/2010).

Alonso domination is clearly visible since the first session. Spaniard was successfully set aside a strong rival kinds of Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull Racing) and Robert Kubica (Renault) that must be satisfied to be in positions two and three on the first free practice.

While in the second session, a few hours ago, Alonso was again appear impressive. Double world champion was featured as the only rider to record time under 1:15 seconds in one lap. Alonso became the fastest with a record time of 1 minute 14 904 seconds.

Note that time can not pass the Mercedes Grand Prix racing driver Nico Rosberg who was sitting in second place with the best record of one minute 15 013 seconds.
