Team Red Bull qualifying master of Formula One motor racing Grand Prix by placing two drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber grabbed the fastest time in Melbourne, Saturday.
Vettel, German racing driver who, despite only reaching 22 score but took the title unseeded, had engulfed Albert Park circuit in one minute 23.919 seconds.
Vettel beat team-mate and championship hosts hope that Mark Webber was second with a record of one minute 24.035 seconds.
While the two Red Bull drivers showed their prowess, British driver Lewis Hamilton just slumped on the sequence of 11.
Previously Hamilton also had the misfortune of having to do with the police because of driving his Mercedes car in a way that "not true" after leaving the track.
Vettel which ranks fourth in the opening race in Bahrain last week because of engine damage, targeting to reach the fourth title for the Red Bull.
"This is a great result for us," said last year Vettel who won four championships last year and also in the runner-up position.
While Webber, also carrying personal ambition, namely to become the first Australian driver in front of his own supporters.
"Of course I'm not too happy because I wanted to be in the forefront of the starting line," said Webber.
"But this is much better than in Bahrain qualifying results. Finally I can show the best results," he said.
Fernando Alonso, Ferrari team drivers who appeared as champion in Bahrain last week, was in third and will occupy the third starting line with world champion from McLaren's Jenson Button.
Michael Schumacher, seven times world champion and again competed in the F1 arena after a three-year absence, ranks seventh, one level below his team-mates from Marcedes, Nico Rosberg.
