BAHRAIN – Sebastian Vettel started the 2010 F1 season started with confident. Red Bull driver will appear at the forefront of Bahrain Grand Prix this weekend after being the fastest in 2010 F1 Bahrain GP qualifying session on Saturday (13/3/2010).
Vettel was performed beautifully in the last two 2010 F1 Bahrain training sessions with five ranked in both sessions. However, Red Bull’s camp a little trouble compensate Ferrari and Mercedes GP performance which is good on the Sakhir Circuit in practice sessions two and three.
But, Vettel managed to put himself as a strong rival of Jenson Button in defending champion crown. German drivers securing pole position after recording the best time 1:54.101.
However, Ferrari’s camp did not seem to be disappointed. Because, duo Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso will follow Vettel in second and third positions. Alonso who is quickest at the 3rd free practice session to settle behind his team mate over the best time to record a 1:54.608. Meanwhile, Massa reached record time of 1:54.242.
2008 world champion Lewis Hamilton will also initiate struggles this season with a sweet. Hamilton puts McLaren in fourth position thanks to his best record time 1:55.217.
Unfortunately, Hamilton’s impressive record does not follow by his teammates as well as champions last season, Jenson Button. The driver that has been received the Laureus trophy for Best Newcomer Athlete scattered at eighth with a record time 1:55.672.
Button located directly behind the F1 legend Michael Schumacher who showed stable performance throughout the weekend. Schumacher will start from seventh position after the intermediate time 1:55.524.
Meanwhile, newer drivers Karun Chandhok who represent Hispania Racing (HRT) will not take part in tomorrow’s race because he didn’t appeared at the three free practice sessions.
