Maranello – Losing faster than McLaren did not make Fernando Alonso losing his balls. Ferrari F1, he says, just have not put 100 percent reliability.

Alonso insists Ferrari have no room for pessimism. Conscious duel racing competition this season will be more stringent, 28 years old Spaniard was no less a threat to spread.

Volkswagen ready to become F1 engine supplier

LONDON – Volkswagen (VW) is ready to enliven the Formula One competition, as the engine supplier. However, a German manufacturer will begin the adventures at Formula 1 for the next 2012 season.

The resignation some manufacturers from Formula One this season, is one reason Volkswagen’s going to compete in F1 arena. Yes, in recent years, recorded three manufacturers have decided to resign. They are Honda, BMW and the last is Toyota.

Using a Database in Racing – A Look at Formula One Telemetry Software

Racing teams have been making use of unique database designs for a number of years to improve their speed, performance and accuracy.

Some programs are used to reduce the amount of time that it takes to get the design from the drawing board to the race track. Others are used to calculate the fastest potential lap time of a specific vehicle and ensure that the care is properly tuned. Formula One telemetry software, for example, is used for those and other purposes.
