Barrichello Controlling 2009 F1 GP Italy

Rubens Barrichello became champion of Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix, Sunday (13.9.2009). Brawn GP drivers emerged as the champion after Lewis Hamilton had a bad luck collided to the barrier wall on the last lap before the finish.

Brawn GP again really reap the good performance with one-two finish at Monza, this season, as Jenson Button whipped up BGP001 just behind Rubinho. The third position still held by Ferrari’s hero Kimi Raikkonen.

Good work from Brawn GP. They got one two finished at 2009 F1 GP Italy. Congrats to both of they drivers. Hamilton have a bad luck. He DNF, crash at the last lap makes Raikkonen got the podium. It was a good race, with a good results.

Lewis Hamilton ensure themselves to takes the pole in 2009 F1 GP Italy at Monza circuit on Sunday (13.9.2009). McLaren driver made it through Adrian Sutil’s fastest time in the final seconds of qualifying session to record the time 1 minute 24,066 seconds.

Sutil who appeared as the fastest racer in the last session of free practice, appear surprising in the qualifying session. Force India drivers is almost certain to continue the previous shocks that Force India managed to get his first pole if it does not pass by Hamilton. Sutil had to be content with securing the position of two difference in 0:00.650 seconds.

Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen managed to seal the top three with a record of 1 minute 24,978 seconds or adrift 0:00.912 seconds behind Hamilton.

McLaren recorded a fastest time in free practice session 1 Formula 1 Grand Prix Italy 2009. Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen finished one-two after eating 58 laps at Monza Circuit, Friday (11/9/2009).

At the second session of 2009 Formula 1 GP Italy, Adrian Sutil from Force India Formula 1 become the quickest. It’ll gonna be a lot of surprises there at Monza.

Can Fisichella avoid embarrassment?

Luckily for Fisico, nicknamed Fisichella, the TIFOSI expectations are not as high as feared. Poor performance of Luca Badoer aka L. Bad might be a little help, make the fans more to keep expectations.

And there is also the possibility, Fisico will be able to achieve satisfactory results. So far, Ferrari officials have been encouraging. Even Badoer was sure Fisico would perform better.

This weekend, Giancarlo Fisichella's dream come true. Italian 36-year-old driver would race for Ferrari, on home base at the Monza circuit. Could he satisfy the TIFOSI?

NO had tested the car yet, only had a week to meet with the personnel Ferrari. Given that, there is the possibility Giancarlo Fisichella will perform poorly in its debut race with the prancing horse, in the Italian Formula 1 GP this weekend.

Monza Formula 1 circuit characteristics suit for KERS

There are three main straight track at Monza could be used as a show of greatness of KERS. Without KERS, the top speed can reach until 218 miles per hour (1 mile = 1.6 km). It's faster 21 miles per hour than any other circuit on the Formula 1 calendar this season. With KERS, of course, a driver can be faster than that.

''With the high speed Monza characters, all cars will use an aerodynamic package with minimal of downforce. However, we will benefit by using KERS,''said the McLaren driver Heikki Kovalainen.

Considered not useful at the beginning of this season, KERS (kinetic energy recovery system) showed greatness in the last few races. Car users KERS won twice in the last three races. That record was have opportunity to continue winning the Italian Grand Prix at the Monza circuit this weekend.

McLaren-Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton recorded a first victory by using KERS at the Hungarian Grand Prix last July. Followed by Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen at the Belgian Grand Prix two weeks ago. At the European Grand Prix between the two GP’s, Hamilton and Raikkonen finishes successful second and third behind Rubens Barrichello (Brawn-Mercedes).

Kerbs at Monza Created Higher

Italian GP Committee has just issued an announcement about the addition height of kerbs at Monza circuit. According to them it was deliberately done solely to reduce the risk of accidents.

Kerb is the edge of the barrier circuit is usually in the corner. Although not designed flat with the normal path, the kerbs itself deliberately used over by the drivers for shortening the distance when they want to overtake his opponent.

Monza Suitable for Brawn GP

Rubens Barrichello faces Formula One (F1) Italian with confidence. The Brazilian driver is optimistic Monza circuit will be suitable for Brawn GP car.

Barrichello failed to close the acquisition of Jenson Button points. The reason, Brawn GP racer was only able to finish in seventh in the Grand Prix race in Belgium last week.
