Renault failed in the first test

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

First test of Renault F1 in 2009 season does not run smoothly as a planned. As wrote by Motorsport Aktuell, the French team must fight hard to maintain consistency and R29′s performance during the trial.

Not only rain storms throughout the weekend to be serious obstacles for Flavio Briatore squad formation. Renault R29 aerodynamic system also have problems.

However, on the last day of trial, Fernando Alonso can control four new Renault F1 R29 cars with ease.

Unfortunately, it is reported Alonso had complained about the condition of the car speed. According to El Nano, Renault F1 newest hybrid can not go fast.

"What is important, we are not experiencing technical problems. The issue of how time is not crucial," I like Alonso in the Marca as F1Live wrote, Thursday (29/1/2009).

"Hopefully, the performance of the car, we can increase it later," hope of 27 years old Spain driver on trial in Australia.
